Running hal deploy apply after config updates errors out

#1

I was testing out adding authorization to my spinnaker instance. Everything went fine while adding the authorization until I went to run a hal deploy apply. I end up getting a:

! ERROR Error encountered running script. See above output for more
  details.

Where no useful information is provided in the output. I reran the command with -l ALL and still didn’t really get any meaningful information.

hal config version --> 1.7.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

#2

Is this a local Debian installation? It needs to be run with sudo hal deploy apply

#3

I am running LocalDebian. I could’ve swore that I did run that, but running it again this morning worked… I’ve been known to leave sudo off quite a few times so that is the most likely cause. Thanks for pointing this out… You’d think it would sink in eventually.

No worries!
